CineMovies
I’ve wanted to create a movie theatre site which is modern, immersive and still usable for a big audience + is fun to use.
The opportunity
In my research I’ve stumbled upon a similar layout for many well established movie theatres in their local area. Even in other countries.
However, with the advent of streaming services, many cinemas faced a new challenge: how to stay competitive in an evolving market where convenience often trumps the traditional movie-going experience.
What I did
Our journey with CineMovies began with a comprehensive workshop. I dove deep into research and began sketching out a possible sitemap structure.
Once the sitemap was approved, I moved on to wireframes. This phase was all about nailing down the content and layout.
I created a high-fidelity prototype in Figma, showcasing animations and interactions. This click dummy allowed me to test out what felt right, ensuring the final design would be both functional and visually stunning.
To not get any copyright issues, I used AI generated images as placeholders for the movies.
The outcome
The result of the hard work was a highly functional and visually appealing Figma prototype. This click dummy showcased EduBright’s new digital platform in all its glory. The prototype wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was designed with usability in mind, ensuring a seamless experience for both students and educators.
